THE WOMEN’S DAY COMMITTEE would like to thank all those who participated and volunteered to help make our Women’s Day Celebration a success. Thank you for your donations and offering to help move the women’s mission to higher heights.

150th ANNIVERSARY EVENT: Come out for a day of fun and fellowship at “Painting with A Twist”, on April 18th at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The cost is $35 per person. Tickets will be available in the narthex after worship. For more information, contact Letitia Flanders or Anne Hart.

ATTENTION ALL NEW & PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS!!! Please join us for New & Prospective Members Class on Sunday, March 15th, and March 22nd at 9:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center Conference Room. If you are not a new member, but you are interested in joining our church, please plan to attend these exciting classes. Thank you!

THE MISSION AND OUTREACH will be collecting food items for the Northside Christian Food Bank the entire month of March. The following items are needed: Peanut Butter & Jelly, Fruits (canned) and Vegetables (canned).

THE DEADLINE for submitting forms for Easter lilies is March 22, 2020. Please submit your forms on time, we will not be able to order extras after the deadline.

WOODLAWN’S HOMELESS FEEDING for 2020 will be Saturday, March 28, 2020 at I. M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless. Volunteer cooks and servers are needed. Cooks are to report to the Center at 9:00 a.m. and servers report at 11:00 a.m. We only need one or two hours of your time. Please come and support this mission.

TAPE MINISTRY/RECORDINGS – DVD’s and CD’s of Woodlawn’s Worship Services tapes are available for purchase: DVD’s - $12.00, CD’s - $5.00 each. Past Worship Services and programs (Revivals, Black History, Women’s Day, Easter, Sunday School, Christmas, Funeral, etc.) are also available for purchase. If interested, please contact Eris Northern or Oday Mickel.

YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DONATE FLOWERS to adorn the chancel area in recognition of special people and events. Forms are available in the vestibule for your convenience. The cost is $30.00 including delivery. Please indicate if you wish the flowers to be given to the sick.

SUNDAY SCHOOL – You are invited to attend Sunday school. Join us and experience great discussion, the exchange of ideas and wonderful fellowship. Give it some consideration. There is a class designed especially for your interest.

THE HERITAGE SINGERS OF JACKSONVILLE will present their 2020 Spring Concert: “Heart and Soul” on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. This is a benefit concert for the National Kidney Foundation and in support of Team Fiercely M (in memory of Madalyn Hawkins). Favorites like “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again, Put a Little Love in Your Heart and It is Well with My Soul are bound to be favorites. Please come out and support this wonderful concert and cause. All proceeds collected will go to the National Kidney Foundation. The Jacksonville Kidney Walk will be April 26, 2020.

Members of the 150th Church Anniversary are working diligently and would like for everyone to share in this celebration. As part of this celebration, committee members have selected a special project that is to ask for a one-time donation of $150.00 from each family or any amount that you are led by God to donate toward the purchase of a church van or bus.

Donations are now being accepted. We are thanking you in advance for this generous donation. Please add this special donation to your church offering envelope and add your assigned number. Also, write in Van Ministry on the blank contribution line.

Praise and thanks to our Lord for our 150th years of existence.
