To Our Woodlawn Family,


This communication is from Woodlawn Presbyterian Church (USA).

The Session of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church under the guidance of the CDC and our COVID-19 Task Force has prayerfully decided to fully reopen the church for in-person Sunday Morning Service beginning April 3, 2022. You will no longer need to register. There will be no restriction on the number of attendees due to social distancing. A mask must be worn at all times when on the church campus . The new guidelines are published below for your convenience. Thank you in advance for your assistance in adhering to this new protocol.


Safety Requirements

Stay home if you are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, have traveled abroad in the last two weeks or from a restricted domestic location or have tested positive for COVID-19.

Consider carefully your own health risks, especially if you are over 65 or have an ongoing health condition. Please worship online at home to keep yourself and others safe, if you are in any of these categories.

Starting Sunday, April 3, 2022, you will no longer need to register to attend worship service.

You are still required to wear a mask at all times in all buildings while on the church campus.

We have eliminated the six feet of spacing between individuals.

Entering Church Sanctuary

All entrances at the front of the church will be open during church services.

You my enter or exit any door of your choice at the front of the sanctuary.

Check-in Process

We recommend all attendees arrive at church by 10:30 a.m. to not interrupt the "live videoing" of the 11:00 a.m. worship service.

We will continue to provide hand sanitizer and face masks on request.

Choirs-All choirs are required to wear masks.

Soloists may step outside of the choir stand and remove their mask at the lectern.

Sunday School-No change

Family Life Center (FLC) Events-The FLC will continue to be open for church meetings only.

Funerals-Will adhere to the new sanctuary protocols.

Church Office-No change

Church Kitchen-Will remain closed

Seating-An usher will escort you to your seat in the sanctuary.

Evangelism & Church Growth Committee - Elder Ernest Smith, Chair

Planning for this year’s Spiritual Focus Retreat and Revival has begun! We are asking the congregation to submit suggestions for a Revival theme along with the scripture reference. Also, please share whether you would prefer to experience this year’s Retreat/Revival virtually through Zoom, Facebook Live or in-person in our sanctuary. You will receive a separate communication with this request to which you can submit your ideas and suggestions directly!
